eBook vs paperbacks

Around a month ago, I got myself a brand new Kindle Paperwhite. It was great on a lot of counts – first, because I bought it out of one of my first incomes (yay!); second, because it was a brand new gadget in my arsenal; and third, because I anticipated that it would save me the tonnes of space that my paperbacks were occupying in my shelves and bags. As soon as I got it, I started filling it with books (I see what you did there Amazon), and recently finished the first eBook that I had ever read. Something has been bothering me through this whole experience. I noticed that my recall and correlation of events and characters was somehow¬†hampered – it never quite was a problem with paperbacks. But I reckon that I’m not the only one. Here’s an interesting article:¬†http://healthland.time.com/2012/03/14/do-e-books-impair-memory/
